Solitude was about an hour away. We had to drive down to Salt Lake City then back up a different canyon called Big Cottonwood Canyon. The sides of the road afforded spectacular views of steep sided gorges. The ski resorts Snowbird and Alta are also in Utah in Little Cottonwood Canyon. |
